We want you to know about the Grace
God has given the Roper churches
Thank you for your prayers for the diocesan training
tour which we co-led in August. We saw God at work
in many ways as we went to each community. The
training included different ways to lead bible studies, a
safe ministry session and a focus on stewardship and
how churches need to handle the money God provides.
Although it was more tiring for trainers, providing
diocesan training by travelling to each church meant
more than triple the number were able to attend,
including younger people. Also, churches received the
training as a whole system in their own context.
Thanks for your prayers for this venture.
Introducing Edwin Rami:
Edwin is one of very few regular attending men in the
church of Numbulwar. He has worked at the school as
a teacher for 28 yrs. In the church, he helps Rev Yulki
to lead Sunday services and funerals, sometimes
preaching too. Edwin is currently exploring options
for theological study that don’t require him to miss
work, because God has put it on his heart to do more
ministry and sharing about Jesus.
He asks you to pray with him for:
His family (and especially for nephew Clarence,
and for Kathleen and Dylan)
